The duties of the vehicle on a one car booking

Collect bridesmaids and bride’s mother and deliver to church, return to bride’s pick up address and deliver bride and father to church. After the service and photographers (normal duration is one hour and twenty minutes, if you anticipate this to be longer kindly advise when booking) the car will deliver bride
and groom only to reception. That completes the duties of a one car booking.

Care should be taken when booking one car only in making sure that the church is not such a distance away that the bridesmaids and bride's mother are not at the church and having to wait a long time before the bride arrives.


The duties of the vehicles on a two car booking

First vehicle leaves with bridesmaids and bride's mother and delivers them to church. Bride’s car collects bride and father and delivers them to church. After the service and photographs (normal duration is one hour and twenty minutes, if you anticipate this to be longer kindly advise when booking). Bride’s car then leaves for the reception with bride and groom, the second car is then there at your disposal, maybe to take the bride and groom's parents to reception or bridesmaids and best man to reception. That completes the duties of two car bookings.

All the vehicles offered for hire are the property of Colin and Barbara Daniels and cannot be booked unless they are inspected by the hirer before hand.

ATTENTION! - Groom & Best Man

Northampton Wedding Cars are first & foremost a Bridal service providing transport for Brides & Bridesmaids on their very special day.

We do from time to time have the request to collect the groom & best man and then deliver them to the Church, unfortunately this is not part of the service which we offer.

We pride ourselves on being a well turned out company and it is our feeling that if we started taking on these type of tasks, although it may mean more profit for the company our cars would be no more than taxis & it would be our Brides & Bridesmaids getting slotted in just before the service.

It will always be the Bride & Bridesmaids who are important to us.

Don't forget, it is traditional for the Groom & Best Man to find their own way to church.

Should the bride and groom prefer a venue away from the church for photographs (within reasonable distance), then our chauffeurs will be only too pleased to take them, kindly advise when booking.

All cars are equipped with at least one white umbrella in case of rain.

Northampton Wedding Cars chauffeurs are very experienced and professional people and are there to please you on your very special day.

Our Prices
Our prices start from as low as £300.00 for a guildhall wedding in Northampton depending on the day which the wedding is to take place.

Weddings which will take place on Saturdays, Sundays or bank holidays being church weddings or civil ceremonies start at £350.00

There will be a charge of £25.00 for the collection and delivery of bridesmaids to church, (this does depend upon the distance from the ceremony venue from the pick up address being possible, we will advise this on booking)

Prices include, all bows, traditional bonnet ribbons in white a bottle of bubbly at the car after the ceremony, all cars carry at least one white umbrella please note there will be no extra charge for a photo. Venue away from the place of the ceremony providing that the chosen spot is not to far from previous venue..

Please note, the charge for a civil wedding is the same as a church wedding, the car will arrive at pick address, collect bride and dad transport them to the wedding venue, the car will wait at the venue until the ceremony has taken place, your driver will then invite the happy couple back into the car, present them with a cool bottle of bubbly and transport them around the surrounding area in order for them to have some time alone before transporting them back to their venue to meet their guests and continue with the festivities, after some photos with the car, the car will leave for home.
